This Cicerone walking guidebook describes 25 coastal and mountain walks on the small isles of Rum, Eigg, Muck and Canna.
The routes range from short rambles to longer treks, including a challenging three-day, 25 mile circuit around the coast of Rum and an ascent of An Sgurr (Eigg). Walks vary from 2 to 25 miles, with many of the walks being circular, whilst others link key island features or viewpoints. The varied terrain includes rough mountain paths, moorland, open pasture and coastal tracks.
For each walk there is a clear route description along with OS mapping at a scale of 1:50,000, along with GPX files available to download. Also included are transport, accommodation and trip-planning advice.
