This Sicily sport climbing guidebook covers the rock climbing areas around San Vito Lo Capo, and Palermo detailing nearly 1,500 routes.  The main focus is on the San Vito Lo Capo area that includes the main Scogliera di Salinella crag that is over 4km long, plus the areas of Macari, Castelluzzo, and Custonaci.  The Palermo area includes the crags of Monte Pellegrino and Monte Gallo.

Sicily is a great sport climbing holiday destination with its excellent winter sun, superb limestone rock and routes across a wide range of grades.  There are steep tufa-caves, expansive vast walls and shorter single pitch cliffs mostly with a beautiful westerly aspect.

The guidebook covers 1,488 routes that are mainly single pitch sport routes plus a number of multi-pitch routes.  The San Vito and Palermo areas offer routes for all abilities, and this guidebook details; 72 routes up to F4c; 551 routes between F5a and F6a+; 512 routes between F6b and F7a; 280 routes between F7a+ and F7c+; and 68 routes over F8a.

All routes are shown on colour photo topos, along with a short description.  At the start of each crag there is a good location map, access information and a brief description of the style of climbing to be found.  GPS co-ordinates are also given for the parking areas.
