Description
This guidebook describes 37 separate climbing areas including 4 bouldering areas in Chamonix Valley. The crags are spread from the village of Le Fayet, west of Chamonix, to crags on the border with Switzerland, including the Aiguilles Rouge. The guidebook describes a mixture of single and multi-pitch routes as well as the 4 bouldering areas. The crags are at various altitudes from a few hundred metres to over 2,000m, with the routes spread across a wide range of grades.
All the routes are illustrated on a combination of colour photo topos and colour topos diagrams, along with a brief description. For each crag there is a good description giving a general overview of the rock climbing area and a QR code for the parking area. Symbols indicate altitude, orientation, if child or dog friendly, height of the routes, along with the type of rock climbing to be found.
