Bohuslän Bouldering Guidebook
This Bohuslän Bouldering Guidebook describes 1,000 of the best boulder problems around Bohuslän. The Bohuslan region is located to the north of Gothenburg (about 1.5 hours’ drive away) and close to the border with Norway. The bouldering is on excellent granite rock dotted amongst a very green landscape, with crags located in farmers' fields, on small hillsides, and along the coast on sandy beaches - all with easily accessible approaches.
The guidebook covers 20 different areas, with the 3 largest areas being Häller, Väseröd, and Lysekil. The 1,000 problems described cover a wide range of grades from easy children’s problems to 8b. The 20 areas covered are:
Fjällbacka, Hamburgö, Binghult, Väseröd, Angarna, Välserödtoppen, Rävhagen, Ulebergshamn, Ramsvik, Smögen, Kungshamn, Häller, Ulorna, Ed, Hogen, Fiskebäcksvik, Skalberget, Sivik, Lysekil and Strödda pärlor.
All the problems are shown on colour photo topos and also shown on boulder maps. For each area there is a location map, access information, plus a bar chart showing the spread of grades.
