This is a selective guidebook describing over 750 of the very best free rock climbing routes in Yosemite Valley.  Yosemite is a forested sea of granite walls, monoliths, and domes that is often described as the climber’s Mecca. Few other climbing areas offer world class big wall routes with such easy access.  This Rock Climbing Yosemite Valley guidebook describes many previously un-documented routes as well as the usual classics to produce a modern guidebook that truly reflects the world class climbing in Yosemite.

The guidebook is split into 8 areas and describes 814 routes from 5.4 to 5.14 (F3 to F8c), with everything from single pitch routes to 1,000m+ routes on El Cap.  All the routes are shown on both colour photo topos and hand drawn classic topos, along with detailed descent information.  These along with detailed approach maps, and QR codes for the parking areas, will ensure you spend your time climbing, not finding your way to the crag or looking for your route.

The areas covered in the guidebook are Valley West, Cathedrals, Southside crags (Sentinel), Valley East (Half Dome), Northside crags (Arches), El Cap, Highway 120 crags, and Highway 140 crags. The guidebook covers a wide range of grades, with:
