Walks in the South Downs National Park
Description
This guidebook describes 40 circular walks in the South Downs National Park, ranging from under 5 miles to 11 miles long. The walks explore the beautiful chalk hills between Eastbourne and Winchester, and include iconic landscapes such as Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters, Ditchling Beacon and hundreds of prehistoric sites such as Cissbury Ring.
For each of the circular walks there is a step-by-step route description, along with OS mapping at a scale of 1:50,000. Also included is information on the plants and wildlife found in the South Downs, as well as handy practical information on accommodation, car parking and public transport.
Published by Cicerone in May 2024, this is the updated 3rd edition of this Walks in the South Downs National Park Guidebook.
