Verzasca Bouldering Guidebook

Description

This is a definitive guidebook covering the bouldering around the village of Brione Verzasca in the Ticino region of southeast Switzerland. The boulders are spread out all around Brione Verzasca including strewn along the river, in the forests, and throughout the meadows. The boulders are of compact gneiss that offers a variety of bouldering styles from slabs and crimpy faces, to overhangs.

The guidebook details 15 bouldering areas around Brione Verzasca plus 4 areas around Lavertezzo located slightly further down the valley. All the problems are shown on photo diagrams along with extensive boulder overview maps. For each area there is a location map including GPS co-ordinates at strategic points throughout the boulder fields.
