Description

This guidebook describes the coast to coast walk across Andalucia, from the small Mediterranean village of Maro to Bolonia beach on the Atlantic seaboard via Ronda. The trail is 416km long, and it follows the Penibetic mountain range across the provinces of Granada, Malaga, and Cadiz, passing through six beautiful Natural Parks and visiting some of the region's most picturesque and characterful towns and villages.

The guidebook splits the route into 21 stages going from village to village. For each stage there is a clear route description and maps, along with information on the different villages and points of interest. This 416km long route takes in mountain views and dramatic gorges, flower-strewn valleys and cultivated fruit groves, with highlights including Moorish Ronda, Roman ruins at Bolonia and the traditional white villages.

Published in July 2018 this guidebook is in English text throughout, and it includes practical information needed to plan and execute a successful trip, with advice on when to go, transport, accommodation and food.
