This is a comprehensive guidebook covering the sport climbing in South Wales around Abergavenny, Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend and Swansea. The sport climbing in South Wales is extensive and varied, ranging from limestone to sandstone rock, and in quarries, inland crags and on sea cliffs. The guidebook details almost 2,700 routes at 58 different crags. This great variety of sport climbing is in a compact area with simple easy access.
The guidebook is split into 4 areas; Carmarthenshire's sea cliffs; Gower; inland and coastal limestone crags; and The Valleys sandstone. The crags covered are as follows:
1) Carmarthenshire - Telpyn Point, Morfa Bychan, and Pendine.
2) Gower - Rhossili Beach, Trial Wall Area, Rams Grove to Fetlock Zawn, Port Eynon, Oxwich in the Woods, Utopia Area, Watch House, Foxhole, Minchin Hole, Bowen's Parlour Area, Bosco's Gulch Area, Pwlldu Bay, Rams Tor, and Barland Quarry.

The guidebook describes almost 2,700 routes across a wide range of grades that are shown on colour photo topos. At the start of each crag is a description describing the aspect and character of the climbing to be found, along with a location map, and approach information.
Published in December 2024 by Rockfax (revised 2nd edition covering an additional 950 routes than the previous edition), this guidebook is in English text throughout. It also includes practical information on where to stay, eat and drink, as well as many great action photographs.
