Mountain Biking in Slovenia Guidebook

Description

This guidebook describes 35 mountain biking routes in Slovenia ranging from 12km to 59km in length. It covers a wide range of MTB routes from half-day easy routes to full day highly technical routes and everything in between. These mountain biking routes are spread throughout Slovenia and include scenic trips along lakes and gentle valleys to tough climbs and long descents with technical trails.

The guidebook is split into 4 regions, which are as follows:
1) The towering peaks of Gorenjska (Lake Bled region)
2) The riverside trails of the Soca Valley
3) The forests of the Nanos plateau in southern Slovenia
4) The tremendous limestone caves of the Karst region in central and northeast Slovenia

For each MTB route there is a full route description along with a 1:75,000 map and gradient profiles spread over a number of pages. Practical information is also given regarding travelling to and around Slovenia, arranging accommodation and the best time to visit Slovenia for mountain biking..
