Mountain Biking in Finale Ligure Guidebook

Description

This guidebook describes 44 circular MTB routes around Finale Ligure on the Italian Riviera, from Cogoleto in the north to Borghetto in the south. The routes link up paths which run along ridges, cover fascinating and technical sections, and then return to the departure point along paths and dirt roads.

At the start of each route there is a map showing the type of terrain covered along with a description detailing the technical aspect of the route, plus a detailed route description. Symbols are used to indicate the best season for the route, maximum altitude reached, total height gained, distance, technical difficulties (both up and down), and expected total time required to complete the route. All of this information is typically spread across 4 pages. Using a unique code within the book all the maps and GPS information can be downloaded.

The 44 routes are spread all along the Ligure coast line around the towns of Finale Ligure, Pietra, Albenga, Borghetto, Le Manie, Spotorno, Val Bormida, Savona, Albisola, Celle, Varazze, and Cogoleto.

Published in March 2016 this guidebook is in English text throughout, and includes many stunning photographs. There are a number of QR codes that link to videos showing highlights of the associated route.
