Description

This is the comprehensive trad rock climbing guidebook for Llanberis Pass describing one of the oldest and best rock climbing areas in Britain.  This new 2025 edition also includes for the 1^st time Clogwyn Du'r Arddu (Cloggy) and the sprawling adventures of Y Lliwedd, as well as the Cromlech Boulders.  The guidebook is split into 6 main areas, which are:

1. Nant Peris area
2. Llanberis Pass North (including Craig Ddu, Grochan, Wastad, and Cromlech areas)
3. Pen-y-Pass Area
4. Llanberis Pass South (including Dinas Mot and Cwn Glas)
5. Y Lliwedd
6. Clogwyn Du'r Arddu (Cloggy)

All the routes, including the multi-pitch routes, are shown on colour photo topos along with a short description.  For each of the main areas there are superb overview photographs and maps.  For each crag there is additional approach information and photographs, OS map references, approach time, and descent information.

Published in November 2025 by the Climber’s Club.  The guidebook includes a wide range of grades from classic VD’s such as Flying Buttress on the Cromlech to test-pieces E9’s such as Indian Face on Cloggy.
