Description

This guidebook describes some of Italy’s best multi-pitch sea cliff climbing between the Circeo Cape and Gaeta, which is to north of Napoli (Nalpes). This 18km of stunning coastline, which also includes Leano, Sperlonga and Moneta, hosts a number of multi-pitch sport routes of which the best 192 routes are described in this guidebook. All the routes are on limestone rock.

Each route is described in great detail and shown on a combination of colour line topos and colour photo topos, with French grades for each pitch. For some pitches an obligatory grade is also given where an element of aid can also be used. This is adventurous climbing above the sea at its best; with most routes fairly well bolted, though some traditional gear will also be required.
