Freyr Sport Climbing Guidebook
Description
This is a comprehensive guidebook covering the sport climbing in Freyr, Belgium’s largest climbing area. Freyr is located in southern Belgium and has routes across a wide range of grades from F3 to F8c+ on limestone rock. The majority of the routes are single pitch though there are also some multi-pitch routes up to 120m long.
The guidebook covers 640 routes, and is split into 10 main areas, which are:
Jeunesse, Louis Philippe, Fromage, Pucelles, l' Al Lègne, Pape, Tête de Lion, 5 Anes, Mérinos and Georget.
All the routes are shown on colour photo topos along with a description. For each of the main areas there is a location map, and approach information. For each sector, symbols indicate the style of climbing to be found, if it is child friendly, approach time, orientation, grade range, and GPS co-ordinates.
Published in 2022 this guidebook is in Dutch and French text throughout, but a large amount of information is conveyed by symbols. The general information and the approach information for each of the main areas is also in English text.
Number of pages is 264.
Size is 150mm x 210mm (A5).
