The Falesie A Cortina D’Ampezzo guidebook covers the sport climbing found around Cortina in the heart of the Dolomites. The guidebook 28 crags and over 1,000 mainly single pitch sport routes. The largest crags are Cinque Torri, Crepe de Oucera and Landro. There are some multi-pitch routes included around the towers of Cinque Torri, with routes between 60 and 150m long.
A crag summary at the start of the guidebook provides lots of useful information to help you decide on the best place to climb on a particular day. This includes crag orientation, altitude, best time to climb, approach time, grade spread, and number of routes. All the routes are shown on either colour photo topos or colour hand drawn topos. The guidebook covers a wide range of grades with many crags offering routes in the F4 to F5 region, as well as the F6 to F8 grade range.
