This is a comprehensive guidebook describing the rock climbing in the Romsdal area of Norway.  It covers all the rock climbing along the Romsdale valley and around Åndalsnes (Norway’s mountaineering capital), along with Molde and the islands to the west, and the spectacular Eresfjord to the east.

The Romsdal area is Norway’s most famous climbing area, and this guidebook describes around 750 routes at 36 different crags.  It covers both trad and sport routes across a wide range of grades.  Around 35% of the routes are trad, with 65% being bolted sport routes.  The routes range from F3 to F8c, with around half the routes in the F5c to F7a grade range.
