Alpine Ice 2 is a selective guidebook describing around 650 of the best icefalls in the Alps, covering Italy (central and eastern Alps), Austria and Slovenia.  These regions are known for their dramatic alpine terrain and host a wide variety of icefalls—from classic, well-known routes to hidden gems in remote valleys.  The areas covered are as follows:

31 areas in Italy, including
Valtellina, Dolomites, Carnic Alps, and Friulian Alps

16 areas in Austria, including
Tyrol, Carinthia, Salzburg Alps, Styria, and Upper Austria

7 areas in Slovenia, including
Julian Alps, Kamnik–Savinja Alps, and Karawanks

All the routes are shown on colour photo topos, along with a description and descent information.  For each crag, there is a location map and access information.  QR codes are also given for the parking areas, and/or the start of the route.
