A Guide to Bouldering in the Virgin Islands

Description

This is a comprehensive guidebook covering the granite bouldering to be found in Virgin Gorda in the Virgin Islands.  The bouldering is based in the south of Virgin Gorda on granite boulders that are located either on the beach or in forests just behind the beach.   Nearly half the problems are located over sandy beach landings that mean a bouldering mat is not always required.

The guidebook covers 16 different bouldering areas and details hundreds of problems to climb from V0 to V10 with more than half the problems in the V0 to V3 grade range.   All the problems are shown on colour photo topos, a separate boulder map, plus there is a brief description of each problem.  At the start of each area there is an area overview describing the character and aspect of the bouldering, location map and access details. 

Published in May 2013 this guidebook is in English text throughout and includes many colour action photographs.  The start of the guidebook has loads of information regarding travelling to the island, plus some suggested bouldering itineraries depending upon how many days you are visiting.
