Description

This is a selective guidebook describing 51 mid-grade traditional rock climbing routes in the Western Dolomites. The areas covered include Puez, Langkofel, Sella, Rosengarten (Catinaccio), Marmolada, and Pala.

Each route is described in great detail. There is a brief summary detailing route length, height gained, grade, expected route time, how good the rock is, the type of protection required and whether the stances are equipped. Then spread over an average of 4 pages is the following information; the approach; a description for each pitch; descent information; colour photo topo; and a hand drawn line topo.

Published in July 2011 this guidebook is in English text, throughout.
