This is the official guidebook describing the first section of Thames Path National Trail from its source near Cirencester to Hampton Court on the edge of the London, a distance of 150 miles. This section of the route passes through historic Henley, Oxford, Windsor and Eton before finishing at Hampton Court.

In total the Thames long distance path starts from its source in the Cotswolds to the Thames Barrier where the River Thames meets the sea.
