It covers an area from Annecy in the French Alps to Big in the Swiss Alps. The guidebook is split into 3 sections covering the following areas:1) Haute-Savoie Region in France – This region includes the mild climate around Lake Annecy to high alpine mountains near Chamonix. It includes the Grandes Suites, Col de la Colombiere, and Cluses near Annecy, plus the Aiguilles Rouges near Chamonix.

For each of the 52 crags there is a location map, along with useful information such as altitude, when the crag is in the sun and the style of climbing to be found. Further information is given on the type of equipment required, from the type of traditional gear to the number of quickdraws for the sport routes.
