The climbing is situated between the cities of Gijon on the north coast and Leon. This rugged, compact and incredibly green part of Spain is one of Europe’s best-kept secret climbing areas. Included for the first time is an overview of some of the bouldering areas in this region.
The guidebook covers 80 selected crags in Asturias, Cantabria and Leon that are used by the regions climbers on a year-round basis, including the summer months. Some of the larger crags covered are Teverga and Quiros in the Valles del Trubia; Pelugano in the Valles de Nalon y Aller; plus Valdehuesa and Valverdin-Pedrosa near Leon.
