Deep Water Soloing (DWS) Guidebook for Luštica, Montenegro

Description

This is a comprehensive guidebook (topo) for the Deep Water Soloing (DWS) found on the Luštica Peninsula near Tivat, in southwestern Montenegro.  This rugged coastline has a series of limestone cliffs rising directly from the Adriatic, to create a climbing paradise.

The guidebook covers 2 different DWS crags, called Myth crag and Blue crag that are both accessed via paddle boards.  All the routes are shown on colour photo topos, along with a French sport grade and a Safety (S) grade.  The S grades range from S0 (safe and low commitment; low cruxes with clean, deep-water falls) to S2 (high and committing; potential for ledges or shallow water – accurate falls essential).  Symbols are used to indicate to style of climbing to be found, height of the routes, depth of the water, orientation and approach time.  QR codes are given for the parking area and the different sectors.
