Climbing Routes in the Sarca Valley Rock Climbing Guidebook

Description

This is a selective guidebook describing 60 routes in the Sarca Valley near Arco, to the north of Lake Garda. All of the routes are multi-pitch and are typically between 200m and 300m long, with some up to 700m long. The guidebook concentrates on routes graded between F5 and F7, with many routes in the sixth grade. The style of climbing can be described as adventure sport climbing, with many of the routes bolted but a small Trad rack is usually also required.

For each route there is a detailed description, a hand drawn topo and a colour photo topo. For each pitch it describes how many bolts or piton there are plus what additional Trad gear is required. A detailed descent description is also given.

Published in October 2011, this guidebook is in English throughout, and includes many excellent action photographs.
