Description

This is a detailed guidebook describing the Cleveland Way National Trail path. This long distance path is 110 miles long and starts at Helmsley before finishing at Filey on the stunning Yorkshire coastline.  The route features prehistoric burial mounds, ancient castles, abbeys, Roman remains, and recent traces of industrial history. Along the route are vast areas of heather moorland that are host to a wide selection of wildlife.

This guidebook has a detailed route description that splits the entire walk into logical stages, where there are villages with suitable available accommodation. Also included is background information on heritage, geology, scenery and wildlife that is found along the Cleveland Way National Trail path.

This guidebook was published in February 2021 by Rucksack Readers (revised 2nd edition), and includes updated route descriptions. Also included is a map of the entire route across 11 pages at a scale of 1:80,000.  This Cleveland Way guidebook is lavishly illustrated, with 95 colour photos and is printed on rain-resistant paper.
