Zagori Hike and Explore Guidebook

This guidebook describes 39 hiking routes around Zagori that highlights the obvious and hidden beauties of Zagori landscape.  Zagori is the land of mountains, deep gorges, pretty villages, and stone-built churches that are tucked high in the Pindus Mountains.  This guidebook is aimed at everyone, mountaineers, experienced hikers, and people who are looking for short, easy walks.

For each of the of the hiking routes there is a detailed description, and maps spread across several maps.  At the start of each route there is diagram showing the height gain, along with an estimated time to complete the walk.  All of the hikes are graded from Green (easy), then blue, red and black (hard).

The book is not just a guide, but it conveys the experiential experience of 40 years in the form of six short personal stories by the author.  Also included is information regarding the geology, wildlife, and the people of Zagori.
