Carloforte to Piscinas walking map

The Carloforte to Piscinas walking map covers the coastal region from Carloforte on the Island of San Pietro to Piscinas in the north. The map covers the towns of Carbonia, Gonnesa, Iglesias, Domusnovas, and Guspini.

This region includes the Linas Mountains and the Marganai Forest that are part of the Monte Linas-Oridda-Marganai Regional Park. Monte Linas is 1,236m high and the Regional Park is a series of rugged mountains and forests with canyons, caves and waterfalls. The map shows many walking, hiking and cycling paths and trails at a scale of 1:60,000, including a number of graded walking and cycling routes.

On the reverse of the recreational map there are descriptions of the many tourists places covered on the map that is in English and Italian text. These include archaeological sites, churches, monuments, museums and beaches, as well as the walking and cycling routes plus information about the local wildlife.
