The village of Albarracin is fairly small and as such the range of accommodation is limited. Though there are a number of hotels and apartments situated in Albarracin that are good bases for the bouldering. There is also a campsite which has a number of fully equipped bungalows.
The Catalunya region has a wide range of accommodation to choose from that is suitable for rock climbers. Many of these hotels, apartments and villas are ideally located for rock climbing in the Sierra de Prades Muntains, Lleida, Reus, Tarragona, Igulada, Alcover, Girona, Manressa, Vic and Berga areas.
The Costa Blanca region has a wide range of accommodation to choose from that is suitable for rock climbers. Many of these hotels, apartments and villas are ideally located for rock climbing in the Calpe, Benidorm, Xalo Valley, Gandia and Alicante areas.
Many rock climbers either choose to stay in the village of El Chorro or in one of the surrounding towns such as Alora. El Chorro has a limited number of self-catering apartments, B&B style accommodation and a camp site, where it is possible to walk to the majority of the rock climbing areas. Towns such as Alora offer a wider range of accommodation from expensive hotels, budget hotels, self-catering apartments and villas, to B&B style accommodation.
Rock climbers tend to take advantage of the cheap villas and apartments available at places such as Port de Pollenca, Soller and around Palma that are available outside the main tourist season. Villas and apartments tend to be ideal for groups of 4 or more, and for smaller groups there are a large number of hotels and Bed & Breakfast (B&B) style accommodation.
